Diffraction grating is composed of many gaps
of the same width and spacing, so it can also be called a multi slit grating.
There are many types of optical gratings, which can be classified according to
different categories. According to light wave modulation, they can be divided
into amplitude gratings and phase gratings; According to the space modulated by
the incident wave, it can be divided into two-dimensional planar gratings and
three-dimensional volume gratings; According to their working methods, they can
be divided into transmission gratings and reflection gratings.
Amplitude grating, also known as black and
white grating, can modulate the amplitude of incident light waves and is widely

high-precision grating exhibits a rectangular variation due to the chrome
plated black lines on the surface, which cannot transmit light waves, and the
white lines without chrome plating, which can transmit light waves. Therefore,
it can also be called a rectangular grating. The amplitude grating and black
and white grating are made of K9 material with an accuracy of ± 2um. This black and white grating has more than 20 models for users
to choose from and can also meet the needs of large quantities of users. In

Amplitude
grating
Amplitude grating: only produces n=0 and n=±1 diffraction orders. The n=0 diffraction order is also known as the DC term.
Phase grating: Phase grating is a type of "surface relief" grating with transmission function. When gt=1, the phase exhibits periodic changes and displays a sine curve.
